Job Summary
Join our Rare Honey retail store and cafe in Joo Chiat as part of our happy honey crew. Engage with customers passionate about healthy, pure foods and real raw honey. This role is perfect for someone who is friendly, proactive, and enjoys interacting with customers. Flexible part-time and casual shifts available with excellent hourly rates.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve beverages and food items accurately to meet customer expectations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the retail store and cafe
Assist customers by providing product information and recommendations about real raw honey
Handle cash and process transactions efficiently during sales
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
Pack and fulfill online honey orders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in barista, food & beverage, or retail roles is favoured
Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
Other Information

We are a small, family owned and operated beekeeping company located in the beautiful and remote south west corner of Western Australia.
Our honey is 100% pure, raw and unprocessed straight from the beehive to the jar. The Rare Honey Company carefully selects only the most pristine environments to keep our bees; from the 300 year old Jarrah and Redgum forests of Margaret River and Pemberton, to the coastal heath as far south as Esperance.
We have a strong focus on the careful extraction of unique, high-potency honeys made from the nectar of native flowering Jarrah, Redgum and Karri trees.
All our bioactive honeys are independently verified and certified using the Total Activity or TA+ scale. Our TA+ laboratory certificates can be found here or if you'd like to find out more about what Total Activity (TA+) means read more here.
Cold filtered and bottled straight from our beehives, we ensure the honey reaches you exactly as the bees made it - packed with healthy enzymes and deliciously sweet.
