Job Description / Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities through outdoor sales, customer visits, cold calling and networking.
Identify and acquire new customers for the company's freight forwarding services.
Maintain and develop good relationships with existing customers and provide good account servicing.
Follow up on sales leads, enquiries and quotations promptly to secure new business.
Promote the company's sea freight, air freight, import/export and logistics services.
Understand customers' shipping requirements and work closely with the Operations team to provide suitable solutions and good service.
Monitor customers' shipping activities and identify opportunities to increase business.
Handle customer enquiries and service issues professionally.
Maintain proper records of sales activities, customer visits and quotations.
Achieve agreed sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
Perform other sales and marketing duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Requirements
Experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics is preferred.
Experience in outdoor sales / B2B sales will be an advantage.
Existing customer contacts or freight-forwarding sales experience will be an advantage.
Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
Good command of English.
Possess own transport is preferred due to the nature of the outdoor sales role.
