Position : Presales IT Specialist

Salary : RM 6,500 - RM 8,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

The Presales IT Specialist will support the sales team by providing technical expertise and solution design to meet customer business and IT requirements. This role involves understanding client needs, recommending suitable IT solutions, and delivering clear technical presentations and demonstrations.

Job Responsibilities

• Stay updated on IT industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Work closely with Sales and Technical teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable IT solutions.
• Design and present technical solutions aligned with client business needs.
• Prepare proposals, solution documents, and technical specifications for clients and internal use.
• Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Support sales cycles by addressing technical queries and clarifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve solution quality and delivery approach.
• Handle multiple client engagements and manage presales documentation efficiently.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT presales, technical consulting, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of IT solutions such as infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or POS systems.
• Experience in system design, solution architecture, or SQL is an added advantage.
• Strong presentation, communication, and demonstration skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Presales: 2 years (Preferred)
• POS System: 2 years (Preferred)
• Server Infrastructure : 1 year (Preferred)
