Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with main contractors or builders.

Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract administration.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Manage all aspects of cost and contract management for construction projects.

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Handle procurement: source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage subcontractor engagements.

Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), final accounts, and project cost monitoring.

Participate in pre-tender activities including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, price comparison, and tender submissions.

Assist in tender interviews and negotiations when required.

Work closely with project and site teams to ensure financial control and timely project completion.

Prepare cost proposals, quotations, and tender documents for new projects.

Handle project documentation including PQP, safety-related paperwork, and other site administrative matters.

(Advantage) Knowledge in landscape works or interior projects is a plus.
