Diploma, Certificate, or relevant qualification in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.

Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency/certification recognized by DOSH/JKKP Malaysia, where applicable.

Preferably with 1–2 years of relevant construction site safety experience.

Good knowledge of construction safety requirements, OSHA requirements, site safety procedures, and safe work practices.

Familiar with HIRARC, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, Permit to Work (PTW), and incident reporting.

Able to identify site hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with workers, subcontractors, site teams, and management.

Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and able to work independently at the project site.

Monitor and enforce site safety requirements, rules, and safe work practices.

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site safety inductions for workers and subcontractors.

Prepare and maintain HIRARC, safety inspection records, reports, checklists, and other safety documentation.

Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.

Assist in implementing Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities where required.

Investigate and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety non-compliance.

Follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from safety inspections, audits, and incidents.

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, Safety & Health personnel, and relevant authorities on safety matters.

Ensure site safety signage, barricades, access routes, housekeeping, and emergency facilities are properly maintained.

Assist in safety audits, inspections, emergency drills, and preparation of safety reports.

Perform other site safety duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management.
