Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Prepare schedules and reports for audits, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly.
Month-End and Year-End Closing:
- Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in preparing reports for management review, highlighting key financial performance metrics.
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.- Identify and implement best practices to streamline financial reporting operations.
Invoice & Payout Processing
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and third-party partner payouts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as MIA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus.
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience working in automotive retail industry will be an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing and reviewing financial reports.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying issues and providing solutions to resolve discrepancies.
Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
