[What the role is]

You will be part of the finance team, playing a key role in shaping and driving the Authority’s procurement function. This is a dynamic role where you will support effective procurement governance, provide practical advice, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement policies, processes, and practices.

[What you will be working on]

• Procurement planning and advisory
• Partner with line departments to understand their needs, review specifications, and develop procurement strategies that meet project requirements.
• End-to-end procurement support
• Support the full procurement process, including preparing sourcing documents, evaluating submissions, seeking approvals, and managing contracts.
• Assist with contract management activities, such as monitoring contract expiry dates and following up on required actions.
• Governance and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Review procurement policies and work processes to keep them effective and relevant.
• Identify opportunities to add value, strengthen controls, introduce innovative solutions, and improve procurement practices.

• Strong analytical skills, with confidence in using data for reporting and process improvement
• Public sector or procurement-related experience will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively
