About the Role

We are partnering with a tier-1 global high-frequency trading firm to expand their core Trading Infrastructure Engineering teams.

In this high-impact position, you will build out and oversee the delivery of critical technology solutions to ensure the reliability, speed, and scalability of proprietary, sophisticated, latency-sensitive trading systems.

They are looking for candidates across various experience levels and locations, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney. The firm is also open to providing relocation assistance and visa sponsorship for strong international candidates.

You will be involved in:

• Platform Engineering & Automation: Partner with traders, researchers and core engineering teams to enhance, deploy, and scale proprietary trading platforms using an automation-first mindset.
• CI/CD & Delivery Pipelines: Architect and manage resilient build, deployment, and infrastructure across hybrid environments.
• Observability & Telemetry: Design monitoring, metrics, and alerting frameworks to gain real-time visibility into the mission-critical trading hardware and software stack.
• Front-Office Operational Excellence: Involve in production support and conduct root-cause analysis on live trading issues, working alongside traders to automate operational toil.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Prior experience working in financial markets or a low-latency environment (or related exposure).
• Solid understanding of system architecture, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with modern monitoring, logging, and metrics stacks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with financial instruments and trading workflows is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commercially oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
