About the Role
Kopifellas
started in 2017 with a vision to preserve and promote Singapore’s food heritage through our innovative concepts. We are looking for a positive individual who passionately loves to spread good feelings via preparation of delicious food. You will play a key support role in our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Perform mise en place to ensure readiness (eg. washing, cutting, marinating, portioning etc)
Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency
Manage stock levels, check raw ingredient freshness, and ensure proper rotation
Proper handling, storage, temperature control and allergen management of food items
Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards of kitchen, workstations and equipment
Assist in other related operations such as cashiering, taking orders, serving food and drinks to customers
Support ad hoc duties as required by Company
Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and Company SOP at all times.
Execute all duties related to the role with due diligence, ownership, and integrity
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
Preferable having at least 3 years of kitchen experience in a traditional-style establishment
Ability to follow SOP and standardized recipes precisely
Good hygiene and safety awareness.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to converse and read in English and/or Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Must be able to stand for long periods in hot, wet & oily environment, handle heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks.
