Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Analyst to support requirements analysis, solution design, technical documentation, testing, implementation, and production support activities. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA/testing teams, and support teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, solutions are properly documented, and systems are delivered with the required quality.

The role requires strong experience in requirements analysis, functional and technical specifications, RTM management, SIT/UAT support, production support, incident management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Analysis

• Gather and analyse business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Understand business processes and translate business needs into clear system requirements.
• Identify functional and technical requirements, dependencies, assumptions, and gaps.
• Clarify requirements with business users, developers, testers, and other technical teams.
• Identify potential risks and impacts of proposed changes.

2. Solution Design

• Analyse existing applications and systems to understand current functionality.
• Develop and document appropriate solution approaches based on business requirements.
• Work with technical teams to ensure the proposed solution is technically feasible.
• Review system impacts, integration points, dependencies, and downstream/upstream impacts.
• Support technical teams during the development and implementation phases.

3. Functional & Technical Specifications

• Prepare detailed Functional Specifications based on approved business requirements.
• Prepare or contribute to Technical Specifications for development and implementation teams.
• Document business rules, workflows, system behaviour, interfaces, validations, and exception scenarios.
• Ensure specifications are clear, complete, and traceable back to the original requirements.
• Review technical documentation prepared by development teams where required.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a System Analyst / Senior System Analyst / Technical System Analyst.
• Strong requirements analysis and gathering experience.
• Experience preparing Functional Specifications (FSD).
• Experience preparing/reviewing Technical Specifications (TSD).
• Strong understanding of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Hands-on experience with SIT and UAT.
• Experience in test case/test scenario review.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with production/application support.
