Vacancy: Protégé Trainee – PROTÉGÉ QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

This is a Protégé Quantity Surveyor position with RSM Builders Sdn Bhd, based in JPP, Putrajaya. You will assist in preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, tender documents and contract documentation while supporting progress claims, valuation, variation orders and final accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, tender documents and contract documentation
• Support the preparation of progress claims, valuation, variation orders and final accounts
• Conduct site measurements, quantity take-off and assist in project cost monitoring
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on QS-related matters
• Assist in procurement activities including sourcing quotations and preparing comparison summaries
• Maintain proper documentation, filing and reports required by the department
• Perform any additional tasks assigned related to cost and contract administration

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen with a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
• Fresh graduates or individuals unemployed for more than two months
• Must not have previously participated in the PROTÉGÉ programme
• Willing to learn, proactive and able to work independently or in a team

Programme Details

Location: Putrajaya
Duration: 12 months
Allowance: Up to RM2,000 / month
