Network Engineer with Arista Networking & Fortinet Security

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of a global enterprise network environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of corporate network infrastructure across multiple office locations.

This position requires a strong blend of technical networking expertise, troubleshooting capability, project delivery experience, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting enterprise campus networks, office expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and daily operational activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

• Provide day-to-day support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, performance issues, and connectivity challenges.
• Support wired and wireless networking environments across corporate offices.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
• Perform network changes in accordance with established change management processes.

Infrastructure Projects

• Support office expansions, relocations, renovations, and new site deployments.
• Assist with the deployment and commissioning of MDF and IDF environments.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, and activation of network hardware.
• Work closely with facilities teams, low-voltage contractors, and vendors to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to global network and infrastructure initiatives.

Security & Physical Infrastructure

Support networking requirements for:

• Access Control Systems
• CCTV & Surveillance Platforms
• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Physical Security Technologies
• Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for enterprise services and applications.
• Support network segmentation, firewall operations, and security best practices.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Maintain network diagrams, standards, operational procedures, and documentation.
• Support inventory and lifecycle management of network assets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted technical resource for employees, business stakeholders, and IT partners.
• Collaborate effectively with global infrastructure, security, facilities, and project teams.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver excellent customer service while managing competing priorities.

Strong knowledge of:

• VLANs
• DHCP
• DNS
• Enterprise Wireless Networking
• Network Troubleshooting Methodologies

Arista Networking

• Experience supporting and administering Arista switching environments.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Arista EOS
• Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP) (preferred)
• Ability to manage environments through both CLI and GUI.
• Experience supporting campus network deployments and operations.

Fortinet Security

• Experience administering FortiGate Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of:
• Firewall Policies
• NAT
• VPN Technologies
• Network Segmentation
• Security Best Practices

Preferred Technologies

• Opengear
• Network Monitoring & Management Platforms
• Network Access Control (NAC) Solutions
• Enterprise Data Center Infrastructure

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting global, multi-site corporate networks.
• Strong experience in Arista switching, Fortinet firewalls, enterprise campus networks, and office infrastructure projects
• Experience with office build-outs, network deployments, and infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to campus networking and data center environments.
• Experience operating within formal change management frameworks.
