Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Science, Economics, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant working experience is preferred; fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of Malaysia's energy market, including oil, gas, electricity, coal, and renewable energy, is an advantage.

Understanding of climate change, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, carbon emissions, and sustainability reporting is an advantage.

Knowledge of energy modelling and forecasting techniques is preferred.

Basic understanding of economic principles and market analysis.

Experience in benchmarking and comparative analysis of regional and international energy markets is an advantage.

Familiarity with data analytics, statistical analysis, data visualization, or programming tools is an advantage.

Knowledge of energy statistics methodologies, data compilation, and energy balance preparation is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

Proactive with excellent networking and stakeholder management abilities.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Positive attitude, self-disciplined, and results-oriented.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Assist in developing, maintaining, validating, and analysing energy statistics databases.

Manage datasets related to electricity, gas, renewable energy, fuel, and other energy sectors.

Prepare periodic energy statistics, economic reports, and market analysis reports.

Conduct research on energy trends, market performance, and economic indicators.

Analyse regulatory developments affecting the energy industry.

Support data collection, validation, quality assurance, and interpretation of energy data.

Assist in economic studies, forecasting, modelling, and policy assessments.

Prepare reports, presentations, and submissions for local and international stakeholders.

Support the evaluation of energy policies and regulatory initiatives through data analysis.

Contribute to energy demand forecasting, scenario analysis, and analytical model development.

Support evidence-based research to strengthen organizational decision-making.
