Role Description

The Social Media Content Creator is a volunteer, hybrid role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

This role involves self-recording for event promotion, planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to reflect ForReal’s mission of fostering authentic connections.

Day-to-day tasks include recording self-talking videos, capturing moments from events, developing short-form videos and visual assets, writing captions and posts, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.


Qualifications

• Ability to speak to an audience confidently in front of the camera
• Ability to incorporate feedback and understand brand tonality
• Ability to deliver punctually
• Strong writing skills for concise, engaging captions and scripts
• Basic familiarity with social media tools and platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, and others), including scheduling and simple analytics.
• Comfort collaborating with event organizers, attending selected events in Greater Kuala Lumpur, and translating on-the-ground experiences into online content.
• Good organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a hybrid work setting.
• Interest in community-building, social experiences, and creating inclusive spaces; prior content creation or community work is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn, experiment with new ideas, and receive feedback to improve content quality and impact.
