Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Building Materials / Building Products
• Position Title: Operations Manager
• Working Location: Jurong West
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.00am – 5.30pm; Sat, 8.00am – 12.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $6,500 + Transport Allowance up to $1,000 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations for construction and aluminium projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities from start to completion.
• Supervise project teams, site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate aluminium fabrication, installation, glazing, cladding, and related works.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower needs, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure projects meet required quality standards, specifications, and deadlines.
• Manage procurement and coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Review project costs, budgets, and operational expenses.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to reduce delays and wastage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, construction regulations, and company procedures.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and productivity.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and operational documents.
• Support tendering, quotations, costing, and project planning when required.
• Lead and support teams to achieve productivity and operational targets.
• Develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and profitability.

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Aluminium-related studies, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction and aluminium works.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication, glazing, cladding, or architectural metal works.
