About us

Atlas Veterinary Clinic and Surgery is an appointment only veterinary clinic providing consultations and surgery for dogs and cats. We are a growing team that values genuine care for every patient and every owner who walks through our door.

The role

Our receptionists are the first and last people our clients meet. You will keep the front desk running smoothly while making sure every owner feels heard, informed and looked after, often on days when they are worried about their pet.

What you will do

• Greet clients, manage arrivals and keep the waiting area calm and organised
• Schedule, confirm and reschedule appointments; manage the daily appointment flow with the vets and nurses
• Respond to client enquiries by phone, WhatsApp and email promptly and accurately
• Process invoices, payments and medication collections
• Maintain accurate client and patient records in our clinic management system (ezyVet)
• Send reminders and follow ups to patients to maintain continued care
• Recognise urgent cases and escalate them to the clinical team immediately
• Support clients through difficult moments, including pet loss, with empathy and discretion
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked and presentable
• Complete daily reception checklists and support other reception duties as assigned

What we are looking for

• Genuine love for animals and a sincere desire to help people and their pets
• Warm, clear and professional communication in English and Mother Tongue
• Calm under pressure; able to handle a busy front desk and multiple enquiries at once
• Reliable, punctual and detail oriented
• Comfortable learning new software and messaging platforms
• A team player who takes initiative and asks questions
• Prior experience in a veterinary or customer service setting is an advantage
• Able to work 4 weekdays + 1 weekend per week
