About the Company

A listed, global asset manager and operator with a large, multi-segment footprint, building a Data & Digital function to make its data AI and BI ready.

Role & Responsibilities

Own the design and rollout of Data Governance across multiple business units and segments. You will turn complex governance concepts into practical guidelines, working as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

The role stands out for its strong AI angle: you will shape the governance agenda and build AI agents and orchestrators that automate it.

• Define enterprise data policies, standards and guidelines with business and IT leaders
• Drive rollout of Data Governance frameworks across business units and segments
• Build AI agents and orchestrators to automate governance activities, with automation designed into every rollout
• Deliver PoCs and MVPs that prove out data strategy in practice
• Lead implementation across metadata management, data quality, data lineage (incl. ontologies and knowledge graphs) and data privacy
• Partner with data and business stewards to onboard data assets onto the governance tool and drive adoption
• Lead cross-functional workshops and training, championing culture change toward trusted data
• Define governance KPIs and dashboards, and monitor policy compliance and maturity

Requirements

• Proven track record implementing Data Governance across a large enterprise or multiple business units
• Deep expertise in metadata management, data quality, data lineage and data privacy
• Working knowledge of ontologies and knowledge graphs
• Hands-on exposure to AI agents and automation applied to governance
• Strong stakeholder leadership, bridging technical teams and business, with experience running workshops and training
