Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

3 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably in construction or industrial projects

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and safety standards

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other electrical design software

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Good communication skills in English and Mandarin; working knowledge of Mandarin and Malay is preferred to communicate with multilingual teams and vendors

Self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment

Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage

Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts and specifications

Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing and system design

Ensure designs meet project, client and regulatory requirements

Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and project teams

Resolve technical issues and provide solutions on-site

Ensure electrical works comply with safety standards and codes

Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems

Implement corrective actions to address non-compliance

Maintain up-to-date records of electrical drawings, specifications and reports

Provide progress reports to Engineering Manager

Support technical submissions and approvals

Research new technologies and industry practices

Recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings

Participate in training and professional development

Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior from time to time
