We are seeking a suitable and qualified candidate to fill our position of Dealer.  This position will report directly to the Head of Treasury Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for the Asset Liability Management (ALM) of the Bank and the management of liquidity risk by controlling the balance of loan and deposit.  It is vital that the incumbent understands the funding structure of the Bank as the Bank handles long term funding and interest rate risk operation.  In addition, he/she will be actively involved in taking and placing deposits from counterparties in and outside Singapore.  He/she is required to make applications to the Head Office in Japanese and negotiate and communicate with the Head Office in Japanese.

As a Dealer, the incumbent is also in-charge of the execution of money market /foreign exchange transactions in inter-bank market, analyze money market /foreign exchange markets and plan marketing strategies.  In addition, he/she is also required to prepare various reports for the management and quotations for customer-related transactions within market range.

Applicants should possess a degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or its equivalent with at least 4 years’ experience in similar capacity. He/she must also possess strong analytical, communication, Asset Liability Management knowledge and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with and a good understanding of the business culture and processes of Japanese organizations is required. The nature of the job will require him/her to be highly proficient in the Japanese Language, both spoken and written as there will be regular communication with the Head Office in Japan.

Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
