Role Summary

Based in Singapore, this role supports the day-to-day operation of systematic trading strategies through live monitoring, incident investigation and trading analytics. Scheduled night shifts are required to cover global markets. Training and supervised practice will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market data, orders, executions, positions and system health, investigating alerts and unusual trading activity.

• Carry out pre-market checks and shift handovers, and assist with approved configuration changes, deployments and post-release validation.

• Follow authorised operating procedures when incidents occur, confirm outcomes and escalate unresolved issues or matters beyond assigned authority.

• Use Python to analyse trading data, investigate recurring problems and improve monitoring tools and operational procedures.

• Follow execution controls and market rules, coordinate with brokers and maintain incident records.

Requirements

• A degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent demonstrated ability. Recent graduates and candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are welcome.

• A solid grounding in probability and statistics, together with an understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, positions, P&L and basic order mechanics.

• Practical Python skills for data processing and analysis.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and disciplined execution, including sound judgement on when to escalate issues.

• Clear written and spoken English for handovers, incident reporting and collaboration.

• Willingness and ability to work scheduled night shifts.

• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and SQL is advantageous.

• Experience or internships in systematic trading, electronic trading, trading operations or production support are preferred, as is familiarity with market microstructure, FIX or monitoring tools.
