Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering & Commercial Performance

  • Partner closely with Business Unit leaders, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide financial insight and support commercially sound decisions.
  • Monitor key revenue, gross margin, cost, profitability, customer and service-performance indicators; highlight trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior-year results, and recommend actions to improve revenue growth, margin delivery and cost control.
  • Produce clear management reports, dashboards and business-performance reviews for senior leadership, converting data into practical commercial recommendations

2. Financial Planning, Pricing & Profitability

  • Lead or support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans and monthly financial-performance reporting for the business unit.
  • Review pricing proposals, customer contracts, tenders, RFPs/RFQs and new-business opportunities to ensure sustainable profitability and target returns.
  • Develop financial models and business cases to assess revenue, costs, investments, working capital and profitability under different business scenarios.
  • Conduct customer, channel and service profitability reviews, including cost-to-serve analysis, margin bridge analysis and cold-chain logistics cost assessments.

3. Operational Improvement & Strategic Support

  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity, warehouse utilisation, transportation efficiency and service profitability.
  • Strengthen financial controls, reporting standards and data quality, ensuring commercial results reconcile accurately with financial P&L reporting.
  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting automation and performance-management processes to improve decision-making speed and accuracy.
  • Provide finance support for strategic initiatives, including market expansion, customer acquisition, e-commerce growth, specialised healthcare distribution and operating-model improvements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, is an advantage.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, business partnering, financial controlling or management accounting.
  • Experience in logistics, 3PL, supply chain, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG or a similarly operationally intensive environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong commercial-finance capability, including pricing, tender evaluation, profitability analysis, business-case development and cost-to-serve modelling.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including financial modelling, pivot tables, scenario analysis and data manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify insights from large and complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to influence senior business leaders.
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed regional environment.
