Position: Western Cuisine Cook (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Bedok
Working Days: Monday-Saturday
Working Hours: 8am-5pm
Salary: $2,500 – $3,000 + PB

Job Description

• Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes, specifications and quality requirements.
• Support daily food production activities, ensuring consistent taste, quality, portioning and presentation.
• Maintain food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and workplace safety in compliance with SFA requirements.
• Follow standard recipes, production processes and SOPs to ensure product consistency.
• Monitor production quantities, stock rotation and ingredient usage to minimise food wastage.
• Assist with inventory control, raw material preparation and stock management.
• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished food products.
• Guide and train junior kitchen and production staff on food preparation, production procedures and hygiene practices.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Assist with new product development, recipe testing and production improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Western Chef, Food Production Chef or in a similar role.
• Culinary diploma/certificate or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in food production, batch cooking or food processing will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing SOPs will be an advantage.
