Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months to 2 years, depending on project requirements
Project Locations:
Singapore – Loyang, Tai Seng or West, depending on the Project Director's assignment.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of data centre projects, particularly Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works.
The successful candidate will coordinate project resources, supervise site activities, manage vendors and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and oversee project implementation, including M&E installation works at data centre sites.
Liaise with customers, contractors, vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocation, budgets and deliverables.
Supervise site activities and ensure installation works meet project specifications and quality standards.
Attend project and progress meetings and provide timely updates to customers.
Manage project teams, monitor performance and resolve operational issues.
Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Oversee project activities from purchase order through installation, completion and payment.
Job Requirements
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the enterprise and/or IT industry, with substantial involvement in project management for turnkey data centre site preparation works.
Proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems.
Experience in UPS and thermal equipment installation within the data centre industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling and resource management.
Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, customer-focused and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
