Key Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, tool presetters, inspection equipment, welding machines, compressors, chillers, and other production equipment.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
Lead equipment troubleshooting, breakdown recovery, and root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
Monitor equipment performance and reliability, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and control systems.
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams.
Manage maintenance resources including spare parts inventory, maintenance tools, contractors, OEMs, and service providers.
Support new equipment installation, commissioning, upgrading, relocation, and improvement projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improvement of MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and PM compliance.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 8 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong hands-on experience in CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably CNC milling and turning equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, servo, spindle, and machine control systems.
Proven experience in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, equipment reliability, and root cause analysis.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
Knowledge of maintenance KPIs, spare parts management, and equipment reliability practices, safety LOTO requirement.
Experience with CMMS, ERP, or MES systems will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and able to respond to urgent equipment breakdowns when required.
Willing to work in the East Region, Changi North Crescent.
