Mandatory Certification:

• A Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

• PERMATA certificate (Kursus Asuhan PERMATA – KAP) is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience teaching children 4-6 y/o in a kindergarten or preschool setting is preferred.

• Exceptional fresh graduates with relevant practicum experience are also encouraged to apply.

Skills & Attributes:

• Patient, caring, and responsible, with a genuine passion for early childhood education.

• Strong understanding of the developmental needs and learning milestones of children 4-6 y/o.

• Familiarity with KSPK is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

• Creative, proactive, and a lifelong learner.

• Good command of English. Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK). Lessons should develop early literacy (BM, English and Mandarin), numeracy, science, creativity, and thinking skills.

• School Readiness: Build each child's independence, focus, self-discipline, and routines to prepare them for primary school.

• Observation & Assessment: Observe, document, and assess each child's progress against learning standards. Prepare regular progress reports.

• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, well-organised classroom with clear routines and consistent, gentle discipline.

• Learning Environment: Create and maintain a safe, clean, and educationally rich classroom with learning corners that encourage exploration and independent learning.

• Parent Communication: Build positive partnerships with parents through regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and clear communication about their child's development.

• Health & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times, in line with school SOPs and MOE requirements.

• Team Collaboration: Guide assistant teachers and work closely with staff to support school events, activities, and a positive school culture.
