Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with a strong track record in delivering major building and infrastructure projects. Due to continued project growth, they are seeking an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contracts Manager in managing tender and post-contract activities.
• Review tender documents, prepare commercial submissions, cost analyses and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, claims and final accounts.
• Manage contractual matters including variations, EOT submissions, claims and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Identify contractual risks and support the resolution of commercial issues and disputes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation, commercial reports and records.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant contracts or commercial experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in tendering, subcontract administration, cost control and post-contract management.
• Familiarity with variations, claims, EOT submissions and final accounts.
• Experience with a main contractor on civil, infrastructure or building projects.
• MRT/LTA project experience will be an advantage.
• Good commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Location: East (transport provided)
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$9,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
