JOB DESCRIPTION – SITE COORDINATOR (CONSTRUCTION)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out according to project schedule.
• Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients on site matters.
• Monitor site progress and assist in resolving coordination issues.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries, manpower allocation, and site resources.
• Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Assist in tracking project milestones and reporting site progress.
• Maintain proper filing of site documents, drawings, permits, and records.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and handover activities.
• Support the project team in ensuring timely completion of works.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in construction projects will be an added advantage.
• Experience working with consultant firm will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of construction processes and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety and quality requirements in construction projects.
