We are looking for an Application Engineer to support machine-vision and automation projects from evaluation through implementation. You will work with customers and internal engineering teams to develop suitable vision solutions, conduct proof-of-concept testing, integrate software and hardware, and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer applications and recommend suitable machine-vision solutions.
• Configure and integrate cameras, lenses, lighting and other vision hardware.
• Support machine-vision software, GUI and SDK integration.
• Develop or modify applications using C++, C# or related programming tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concept tests and technical demonstrations.
• Support robot and AI-related vision applications.
• Assist with system installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical proposals and project documentation.
• Support R&D and evaluation of new vision and automation technologies.
• Provide technical support to customers when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of C++ and/or C# programming.
• Understanding of cameras, optics, lighting and machine-vision systems.
• Experience with image-processing algorithms is advantageous.
• LabVIEW knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation, industrial controls or robotics is advantageous.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to travel overseas when project support is required.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in machine vision are welcome

Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
