Responsibilities

  • Requirements Analysis & Solution Design
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
  • SAP BW/4HANA Development
    • Design, develop, and enhance SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, and data flows aligned with architectural standards.
  • Data Warehouse Optimization
    • Analyze and optimize existing data models, data loads, transformations, and reporting processes to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
  • Enhancement Implementation
    • Implement system changes and enhancements while ensuring solution stability, data integrity, consistency, and backward compatibility across environments.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Prepare and execute unit and integration tests, support User Acceptance Testing activities, and assist business users during validation processes.
  • Operational Support
    • Monitor data pipelines, investigate issues, and provide support for incidents, requests, and production activities within agreed service levels.
  • Go-Live & Hypercare Support
    • Support deployment activities, manage go-live preparations, and provide post-go-live assistance to ensure successful solution adoption.
  • Documentation Management
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, integration specifications, operational procedures, and support materials.
  • Knowledge Transfer
    • Provide continuous knowledge sharing through technical workshops, solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and mentoring sessions for internal teams.
  • Handover & Transition Support
    • Support operational handovers through shadowing, reverse shadowing, readiness assessments, and transition activities ensuring long-term support capability.

Requirements

  • SAP BW Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP BW solutions in enterprise reporting and data warehousing environments.
  • Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing
    • Strong expertise in Business Intelligence concepts, enterprise data warehousing architectures, and advanced data modeling techniques.
  • SAP BW/4HANA Expertise
    • Proven experience with SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP BW on HANA, including development, enhancements, and operational support activities.
  • Data Modeling & Data Flows
    • Experience designing and optimizing ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, data extraction processes, and reporting structures.
  • ABAP Development Knowledge
    • Working knowledge of ABAP for development support, troubleshooting, debugging, performance analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Experience supporting unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of reporting and data warehouse solutions.
  • Production Support
    • Experience monitoring data pipelines, resolving incidents, supporting business users, and maintaining stable BI operations.
  • Solution Documentation
    • Strong experience creating technical documentation, solution designs, process documentation, and operational support materials.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
    • Proactive and collaborative approach with strong analytical capabilities, troubleshooting skills, and interest in technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management
    • Fluent English with excellent communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional organizations.
