Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire a Learning & Development Manager to shape how its people build AI fluency, digital skills and technical expertise across the business.

This is an internal role with ownership of the technical learning roadmap. You’ll work with senior business and HR leaders to identify the skills the firm needs, build programmes that help employees apply those skills in their work, and measure the impact.

Responsibilities:

• Assess skills gaps across business units and translate them into learning priorities that inform workforce planning.
• Build a technical competency framework that defines the skills employees need for different roles.
• Design and deliver blended learning, digital upskilling and leadership development programmes.
• Oversee the learning management system, AI-enabled learning tools and analytics to improve the learner experience and track progress.
• Manage the L&D budget and external partners, and measure how programmes build capability and deliver business value.

Key Requirements:

• Min 10 years of L&D experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• A track record of building L&D strategies and competency frameworks, and leading digital upskilling or learning transformation programmes.
• Experience with learning platforms and analytics, plus a practical understanding of how AI can support learning and capability development.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and use data to evaluate learning outcomes and return on investment.
