AI Software Developer

About the Role

We're looking for an AISoftware Developer who builds software with AI coding tools every day. You'll useagentic coding assistants to ship features, fix bugs, and deploy applicationsfrom local development to production. You know how to get the most out of thesetools while still reviewing, testing, and owning the code they produce.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain web andmobile applications using AI-assisted development workflows
• Use AI coding agents in theterminal and in the IDE to implement features, refactor code, and resolve bugs
• Deploy and manage applicationson cloud servers such as DigitalOcean
• Set up, manage, and maintainMongoDB databases, including deployment, backups, and performance tuning
• Use AI design tools to createUI mockups, prototypes, and visual assets
• Review AI-generated code forquality, security, and correctness before it ships
• Work with Git branching andpull request workflows alongside other developers
• Document processes and shareAI workflow best practices with the team

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ClaudeCode and OpenAI Codex, both through the terminal and inside VSCode
• Experience with otherthird-party AI development platforms (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, orsimilar)
• Experience using Claude'sdesign features or similar AI design tools for UI and prototypes
• Proven experience deployingapplications to DigitalOcean (Droplets, App Platform, or similar),including server setup, environment configuration, and domain/SSL management
• Experience deploying andmanaging MongoDB (self-hosted or MongoDB Atlas)
• Solid knowledge ofJavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Comfortable with the Linuxcommand line, SSH, and basic server administration
• Strong Git skills (branching,cherry-picking, pull requests)
• Ability to critically reviewAI output rather than accept it as-is

Nice to Have

• Experience with React, ReactNative, or Expo
• Familiarity with Docker,Nginx, and PM2
• Experience setting up CI/CDpipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Experience writing prompts,custom instructions, or skills/agents for AI coding tools
• Knowledge of REST API designand authentication
