Job Summary

You will support culinary operations by following instructions from senior chefs, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment use in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately and efficiently
• Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including working any day or shift as required
• Focus on completing one task at a time to ensure quality and efficiency
• Complete work lists assigned by Chef de Partie within designated timeframes
• Ensure food items meet quality and sanitary standards by applying "First in First out" kitchen best practices
• Store all food products correctly in appropriate fridges and containers throughout the shift to maintain freshness and safety
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and ensure colleagues clean their stations after every service
• Use kitchen equipment safely and properly at all times and guide colleagues on correct equipment use

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience
