1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and assist customers professionally.

• Recommend suitable products based on customer preferences.

• Develop strong knowledge of imported meats, sausages, bacon and specialty products.

• Explain product information, cooking methods and storage recommendations.

• Promote new arrivals, special offers and seasonal promotions.

• Encourage customer loyalty programme registrations.

• Build relationships with regular customers.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Receive, check and organise incoming stock.

• Monitor product expiry dates and practise FIFO/FEFO stock rotation.

• Maintain correct chilled, frozen and ambient storage conditions.

• Assist with stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.

• Report stock shortages, damaged products and discrepancies.

• Minimise wastage and maintain stock accuracy.

Store Operations

• Maintain store cleanliness and product presentation.

• Replenish shelves, chillers and freezers.

• Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures.

• Operate the POS system and process customer payments.

• Assist with daily sales reporting and cash reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate product pricing and promotional displays.

Online Orders & Customer Enquiries

• Assist with WhatsApp and telephone enquiries.

• Prepare and pack online customer orders accurately.

• Coordinate with delivery personnel when required.

• Support smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge & Sales Growth

• Learn about TME's international food brands.

• Recommend complementary products and encourage upselling.

• Support daily and monthly outlet sales targets.

• Participate in product promotions, sampling and launches.

• Share customer feedback and product suggestions with Management.

Teamwork & Responsibility

• Work closely with supervisors and team members.

• Communicate operational issues promptly.

• Demonstrate punctuality, accountability and initiative.

• Complete assigned responsibilities independently.
