Sync In Motion Pte Ltd
Do you enjoy fixing problems at the source? At Sync In Motion, you will own IT support for our clients, on-site and remotely, across hardware, software and IT peripherals. Our current support work includes a major public transport operator, so you will work in a live, high-visibility operational environment. You are not one of many tickets in a queue. In a team of two, you handle issues end to end and build direct relationships with the clients you support.
What the role looks like
Varied work every day: troubleshooting, installation, migrations, user account management and backups
Hands-on at client sites, not only behind a desk
Full ownership of incidents, from logging to vendor follow-up to resolution
Work independently in a team.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users, on-site and remotely
Install, configure and migrate hardware and software
Manage user accounts and provide application support
Maintain IT peripherals and perform data backups
Log incidents and follow up with vendors until they are resolved
Maintain strong client relationships and a high standard of service
Schedule
5-day work week, Monday to Friday
Average of 8 hours per day
Main working location: Bishan
24/7 Standby Requirement (please read before applying)
This role includes a 24/7 standby rotation. When assigned, you hold a standby phone and respond to urgent issues after hours, on weekends and on public holidays.
The team is two people, so the rotation is frequent. Please apply only if you can commit to standby.
Requirements
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, software and hardware
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to commit to the 24/7 standby rotation
Advantage
Basic programming or SQL knowledge (e.g. C, C++, SQL)
