A well-established alternative investment manager with a sizeable Asia platform is building its senior bench in Singapore. The coverage spans management company reporting and fund operations, with scope shaped around the person — whether your strength sits in one or across both.

You will be the person on the ground in Singapore for this coverage, working closely with colleagues across the region. The seat sits close to firm leadership and reports to a senior partner who covers the region and spends time in Singapore — so the work runs on your own judgement, with clear updates and regular check-ins rather than day-to-day supervision.

The firm moves quickly and priorities can shift. The seat suits someone who keeps things moving, keeps the numbers clean, and makes sure deadlines are met. Occasional regional travel is part of the job.

These are hands-on, senior individual contributor seats, with no team to manage — and that is by design. You will do well here if you have spent a meaningful part of your career inside a fund manager (GP), not only advising or servicing one. Experience with USD funds or global fund structures is valued, as the funds grow more complex. Private equity is the most natural fit, though GP experience in private credit, real estate, infrastructure or public markets counts just as much. People who have worked with you would describe you as technical, reliable, hardworking and low-ego.
