JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

1. To process survey data and produce charts on board

2. To assist in interpreting and reporting

3. To meet clients standard and requirement

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Responsible provide survey data for project commencement to Party Chief

2. Responsible for checking survey data received from onboard for completeness and quality

3. Responsible for producing and delivering data in charts using AutoCAD

4. Responsible for producing/providing chart for Geophysicist’s interpretation

5. Responsible for assisting Geophysicist in compiling final report to be submitted to Client

6. Responsible for ensuring data acquisition and processing meeting with Client specification and requirement

7. To perform all duties safely and efficiently at all times in accordance with the Company’s QHSE policy; comply with Integrated Management System (IMS) processes; adhere to Authorities' requirements and other related Group policies, procedures and guidelines

8. To perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior or to any senior position nominated by the Company from time to time

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Malaysian citizen only
• Bachelor in Geomatics or equivalent
• More than 2 years working in Oil & Gas/Energy industry
• Knowledge in data acquisition and processing, knowledge in geological software; preferably Qinsy, Qimera and AutoCAD
• Meticulous, analytical and able to interpret, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Computer literate with good understanding of databases.
• Willing to work Offshore, if required
