About the role

• This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at JKV CONSTRUCTION SDN BHD as a Quantity Surveyor. As a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a crucial role in providing expert quantity surveying services to support the company's construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Measure and value construction work, including variations and claims
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and sub-contracts
• Monitor project costs and provide regular progress and forecast reports
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quantity surveying practices and processes
• Manage contracts and costs of a construction project, from beginning to completion.
• Preparation for Pre & Post tenders.

Job Requirement

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in a quantity surveying role, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction cost management, contract administration, and project accounting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of relevant software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
