Company Description Paediatric Surgery and Urology International is a specialist pediatric surgical and paediatric urology practice led by Dr. Wong Zeng Hao, a Ministry of Health–accredited paediatric surgeon with training in Singapore and the United Kingdom. The clinic provides comprehensive surgical care for babies, children, and adolescents, covering acute conditions, feeding tract issues, urinary and genital tract disorders, and head, neck, and chest pathologies. Dr. Wong has received multiple academic and clinical fellowship awards and has presented his work at international paediatric surgery conferences, reflecting a strong commitment to clinical excellence and innovation. The practice emphasizes accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and surgical outcomes that prioritize safety and recovery. Role Description The Doctor will provide specialized clinical care in paediatric surgery and paediatric urology, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of surgical and urological conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, performing elective and emergency procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating perioperative and postoperative care. The role involves close communication with parents and caregivers to explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and follow-up plans in a clear and compassionate manner.

The Doctor will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring clinicians to ensure continuity and quality of care, and contribute to clinical protocols, audits, and ongoing quality improvement. This is a full-time, or part time role based in Orchard, requiring regular involvement in clinic sessions, and surgical lists.

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or specialist training in paediatric surgery and/or paediatric urology.
• Relevant board certification and accreditation with the local medical regulatory authority; eligibility for specialist registration in paediatric surgery is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical skills in diagnosing and managing acute abdominal and scrotal conditions, congenital anomalies, and urological disorders.
• Proficiency in open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic procedures commonly used in paediatric practice.
• Strong skills in history-taking, physical examination, clinical reasoning, and interpretation of imaging and laboratory investigations for paediatric patients.
• Excellent communication and counselling abilities to engage children, parents, and caregivers sensitively and clearly, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, anesthetists, allied health professionals, and fellow surgeons.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and adherence to clinical guidelines, infection control, and regulatory standards.
