Our client is seeking a Junior Trader to support its physical metals trading activities. This opportunity may suit someone with experience in trading, trade operations or a commercial role who is ready to take on broader market exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing, pricing and execution of physical metals trades.
• Monitor market developments and identify potential trading opportunities.
• Engage suppliers and customers on enquiries, quotations and commercial terms.
• Work with operations teams to coordinate contracts, shipments and deliveries.
• Track trade positions, costs and margins.
• Maintain accurate trade records and help resolve issues across the trade cycle.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Around 3 years of relevant experience in metals trading, physical trade operations or a related commercial role.
• Good understanding of physical trading processes, with strong numerical and communication skills.
