Aboutthe Role
We arelooking for a proactive individual to join our team to manage our supply chain business. The ideal candidate is someone who understands international business, supply chain operation and insurance claim processes.
KeyResponsibilities
Min. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
1 ~ 2 years of experience in freight, logistics or trade operations.
Fresh graduates are open to apply
Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling
Familiarity with Incoterms 2020
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Able to travel for business trips occasionally
Ajinomoto (Singapore) Pte Ltd was established in 1973 to promote and distribute Ajinomoto products in the Singapore market through the retail and supermarket channels. In fact, our presence in Singapore dates back to 1927, when Ajinomoto’s 3rd overseas office was opened in Singapore (following New York and Shanghai).
Today, we offer a variety of products including seasonings, frozen foods, processed foods, beverages, sweeteners and amino acids for the consumer market as well as the catering and food processing industries. Apart from its marketing and sales activities locally, Ajinomoto Singapore also performs vital functions to support the Group’s global operations, such as the procurement of flexible packaging materials, chemicals and raw materials, the provision of logistic solutions, and developing new businesses in the region.

- Liaise and build strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
- Manageand coordinate with factories and customers on order fulfilment, including resolving supply chain issues that may arise.
- Freight negotiation and shipment booking.
- Provideprofessional advice on loss prevention and liaise/negotiate with insurancecompany when need arise.
- Maintainaccurate and up-to-date order fulfilment records.
