Role Description The Terminal Operations Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru, focused on learning and supporting day-to-day terminal and port operations. Responsibilities include assisting in vessel and yard planning, monitoring cargo handling activities, and helping coordinate workflows between operations, logistics, and customer service teams. The trainee will support data collection and reporting on operational performance, contribute to process improvements, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves shadowing experienced operations staff, participating in project assignments, and engaging with stakeholders to understand terminal procedures, systems, and service requirements.

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify issues, and support process improvements.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication abilities to interact with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, maritime studies, business, or a related field are beneficial.
• Ability to work in an on-site operational environment, with attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Good command of English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, especially in a multicultural, international setting.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to shift or irregular hours as required by port operations, and develop a career in terminal and logistics management.
