Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance across the organization. This role leads the execution of business strategies, ensures operational excellence, and aligns processes, systems, and teams to support growth and client delivery. The COO will manage cross-functional operations including service delivery, process optimization, and resource planning, while working closely with the executive team to set objectives and measure outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, monitoring financial and operational metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with internal governance standards. The role also involves mentoring senior leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, and representing operations in strategic client and partner discussions.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Planning skills, including strategic planning, organizational design, and execution of growth initiatives.
• Proven Operations Management experience overseeing complex, multi-site or global operations, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, building dashboards, and using insights to drive decisions and process improvements.
• Solid Finance and Budgeting skills, including managing P&L, forecasting, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in technology-enabled services or operations, ideally with exposure to AI-driven or digital transformation environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across executive, operational, and client teams.
• Track record of change management and continuous improvement, including implementing new operating models, tools, or methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur and engage with regional and global teams as needed.
