Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to oversee inventory management and ensure seamless operations in our store. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle incoming materials, maintain precise inventory records, and uphold optimal stock levels to support business needs and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility and Accountability:

Order Placement & Material Receiving

• Place daily orders with suppliers within designated cut-off times, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Verify and cross-check purchase orders to confirm correct execution.

• Receive all incoming materials, reconcile deliveries against purchase orders, and report discrepancies promptly.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking stock movements, updating physical counts, processing returns, and recording adjustments.

• Pack, label, price, and manage returned supplies efficiently.

• Ensure proper stock rotation, coordinating with chefs or relevant personnel to minimize product expiry and wastage.

• Conduct end-of-month stock counts and prepare detailed inventory reports.

• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the storeroom.

Stock Control & Restocking

• Monitor inventory levels to maintain established minimum and maximum thresholds.

• Ensure stock requests are fulfilled promptly, preventing out-of-stock situations.

• Proactively track par levels and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted operations.

Record-Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive records of receipts, withdrawals, and asset movements.

• Generate and submit accurate inventory and stock reports to management within deadlines.

Supplier Relations & Ethical Practices

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring professionalism and ethical business practices.

• Manage supplier databases and ensure consistent communication and follow-up.

Ad-Hoc Duties

• Demonstrate flexibility by handling additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operational continuity.

• Respond promptly and effectively to unexpected situations affecting inventory or operations.
