Job Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities, including PO issuance, sourcing, contract management and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, flexibility and on-time delivery.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, optimize purchasing strategies and ensure purchase price accuracy.
• Plan and manage material supply, inventory levels and procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted operations and meet customer demand.
• Monitor material availability, supplier lead times and inventory performance to minimize supply disruptions and excess inventory.
• Analyze market trends, factory spending and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Material Planning, Production, Engineering, Finance and Warehouse, to ensure effective supply chain operations.
• Provide operational support to Batu Lepas and Bayan Lepas factories as required.

Requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal)."We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
• Good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage suppliers, optimize inventory and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel or provide support at factory locations as required.
