Job description

Proven track record in business analytics, preferably within the telecom or related industries (e.g., financial services, utilities, digital platforms).

Experience in defining KPIs, setting up performance dashboards, and translating data into actionable business insights.

Strong SQL and data manipulation skills; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).

Ability to partner with business teams to identify high-impact use cases for AI/ML solutions (e.g., churn prediction, upsell/cross-sell, customer segmentation).

Understanding of telecom data sources (CRM, network, billing, customer touchpoints).

Skills/ Experience

8-10 years in analytics, data strategy, or performance management roles.

Prior consulting or in-house transformation experience.

Communications & Business Insights

Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through concise reports, visualizations, and presentations.

Collaborate across business functions to understand objectives, align analyses with priorities, and recommend data-driven solutions.

Develop compelling narratives and executive summaries that connect data trends to business performance and growth opportunities.

Project management

Organise, prioritise and manage tasks across multiple stakeholders in the measurement workstream

Support and lead dashboard development with junior data analysts and stakeholders in performance and finance teams

Dashboard Analysis & Reporting

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

Collaborate with business users to understand analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.

Monitor dashboard performance and implement improvements for data accuracy and visualization quality.

Snowflake Integration & Data Pipelines

Develop and manage data pipelines integrating Snowflake with other data sources and APIs.

Optimize Snowflake queries and warehouse performance for efficient data retrieval.

Work with APIs to fetch, transform, and load data into Snowflake for analysis.

Data Quality & Bug Fixing

Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies or bugs from dashboards and databases.

Implement validation checks and data quality monitoring processes.

Collaborate with data engineering teams to fix data ingestion or transformation issues.

Cloud Technologies

Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and deployment.

Manage and optimize data workflows in cloud environments.

Ensure security, scalability, and performance of data solutions in the cloud.

SQL & Data Analysis

Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Support ad-hoc business queries and generate insights from structured and semi-structured data.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation using SQL and scripting tools.
