• Position: Fashion Designer (Apparel / Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Location: Near Tai Seng MRT
• Working hours: Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Salary (commensurate experience) Up to $4,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Medical Reimbursement up to $500 annually
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Garment / Apparel

Responsibilities:

• Develop mood boards, design concepts and presentation materials for apparel collections.
• Conduct fashion, fabric and design research based on product and customer requirements.
• Source suitable fabrics, trims and materials for product development.
• Create fashion designs and technical drawings for sampling and presentation.
• Prepare and coordinate prototypes and support product development from initial concept to sample stage.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and relevant parties on garment development and construction requirements.
• Review samples and provide design input during the development process.
• Maintain and organize fabric and trims libraries.
• Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to prepare design artwork, presentations and technical materials.
• Support other fashion design and product development activities as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant fashion or apparel design experience.
• Good knowledge of textiles, fabrics, garment construction and apparel development.
• Hands-on experience developing designs from concept through sampling or prototype stage.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Able to prepare technical drawings and communicate design specifications clearly.
• Good coordination skills when working with suppliers, production teams and customers.
