Provide mentorship, on‑site demonstrations, peer mentoring, and on‑job training to develop the client’s in‑house maintenance team in core network operations.
Guide duty staff in applying Operations, Administration and Maintenance Procedures (OAM) for RAN or core network systems.
Transfer daily maintenance, operations, and administration skills of RAN or core network domain, along with tier‑1 technical knowledge, through hands‑on training and peer mentoring.
Respond to customer requests and system alarms related to RAN or core network domain.
Train new staff in RAN / core network technical skills and operational practices.
Direct duty staff in first‑line diagnostics of RAN / core network faults, and support remedial actions to restore services.
Mentor duty staff in liaising with external parties for troubleshooting and resolution of RAN / core network issues.
Ensure duty staff follow escalation workflows and maintain user/group account management within RAN / core network systems.
Participate in monthly mentoring service meetings with the client, focusing on RAN / core network performance and issues.
Organize drills and simulations every six months to assess duty staff and hands‑on skills in RAN / core network operations.
To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
Possess at least one Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Telecommunications / Information Engineering or equivalent
At least 7 years’ maintenance support experience of RAN / Core Network with a telecom operator.
Good Command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Strong knowledge of Core Network operations, administration, and maintenance procedures (OAM).
Skilled in technical support, diagnostics, and service restoration.
Proficient in user/group account management and escalation workflows.
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and transfer knowledge through on‑site demonstrations, peer mentoring, and on‑job training.
Experience in guiding teams to respond to system alarms and customer job requests.
