Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to patients’ individual needs, medical orders and established care standards.

Ensure the delivery of nursing care is aligned with hospital policies, professional nursing standards, clinical guidelines and best practices.

Promote and maintain a safe, clean and supportive patient care environment.

Monitor compliance with nursing standards relating to clinical documentation, patient treatment, infection prevention and control, and professional conduct.

Provide supervision, coaching and mentorship to new and junior nursing staff to support competency development and effective team performance.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the quality, safety and effectiveness of nursing care.

Work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
