We are looking for an experienced network professional to lead the technical transition of managed network services for large enterprise and global customers. You will take solutions from design through to live service, bridging presales, engineering, operations, vendors, and customers, and making sure every deployment lands smoothly and is handed over ready for day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate end-to-end technical transition activities, from implementation through to operational handover, working closely with presales, project, engineering, operations, vendor, and customer teams
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions, and produce Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for network solutions including SD-WAN and other managed network services
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as UAT plans, impact assessments, installation runbooks, implementation procedures, and migration and rollback plans
- Run lab tests and Proof of Concept validations, and lead pilot site deployments to confirm functionality, integration, connectivity, performance, and service readiness
- Provide hands-on technical guidance for installing and configuring network infrastructure at critical locations such as hubs and data centers
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for deployment teams, working with vendors and engineering to resolve complex hardware, software, routing, connectivity, and configuration issues
- Plan and support migrations, cutovers, rollbacks, and service validation to keep disruption to a minimum
- Track and manage technical risks and issues throughout the transition, driving mitigation and timely resolution
- Coordinate service acceptance and handover to Operations, ensuring documentation is complete and open issues are addressed before closure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
- CCNP certification at minimum (or equivalent), with solid knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and managed network services
- At least 8 years of experience in network engineering, implementation, technical transition, or managed network services, ideally supporting large enterprise or global customers
- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting SD-WAN solutions such as Cisco SD-WAN, Aruba EdgeConnect, VMware VeloCloud, or Fortinet Secure SD-WAN
- Strong command of OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, QoS, VPN/IPsec, and SD-WAN overlay technologies (knowledge of Traffic Engineering and Segment Routing is an advantage)
- Experience with leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Aruba, plus a good understanding of network security including firewalls, VPN, PKI, and authentication protocols
- Proven track record across the transition lifecycle: LLD development, lab and PoC testing, pilot deployment, UAT, migration, cutover, rollback, service validation, and handover to Operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues
- Technical leadership and stakeholder management skills, comfortable acting as an escalation point across customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication, backed by analytical thinking, coordination skills, and situational awareness
