Job Summary

You will perform detailed product cost simulations and support cost calculations for new product introductions and project transfers, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate costing data and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform product cost simulations for New Product Introduction (NPI), First Article Inspection (FAI) requests, quotations, and project transfer activities to support accurate pricing and budgeting
• Calculate and update project standard costs, cost roll-ups, and cost revisions to maintain financial accuracy
• Maintain and update material master data and costing parameters within the ERP system to ensure data integrity
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver timely and accurate costing information
• Support audit requirements by preparing costing documentation and participating in process reviews
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to costing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in costing, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis
• Hands-on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with other ERP systems is an advantage
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy in all costing activities
• Exhibit proactive, self-motivated learning and adaptability
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
